“Why can’t my mother die in my arm?”

“Why can’t my mother die in my arm?”

This was an angry outburst from a doctor son. It was a devastating and heart-breaking voice recording forwarded in a social media chat group. He received a box of her mother’s ashes four days after her death from COVID-19.

Being a semi-retired healthcare worker, I can see where he is coming from. ICU staff with PPEs ( personal protective equipments) work round the clock on COVID-19 patients. It is a possible option for closed ones to wear PPEs to be near their loved ones. Although, no healthcare institution would take this risk.

It is important to weigh the risks and benefits of the practise and other options.

A lady in ICU once instructed her loved ones to start chanting (Buddhist) during her final hour outside ICU. That was before COVID-19.

“A recorded prayers from close ones to be played next to ICU patients would be a good option, too!”

Hearing is thought to be the last sense to leave when a person Is unconscious or dying.

A final say; COVID-19 is indeed cruel to the last!

  1. Yes I agree Chen! Now I must say I totally believe the Covid nightmare to be radically exaggerated and over the top as tote manner in which it was dealt with on all levels! We know for a fact Covid death counts were skewed and false just like the PCR test was a fallacy and totally inaccurate or inconclusive in determining if a person even had the virus. But so many deaths were counted as being due to Covid-19wen they were not! I also believe the information is coming in all the time that this virus isn’t much different than annual flu or cold viruses but this was handled as though it were Ebola!

This audio is all I have to offer with Dr. Wittkowski does explain what I thought from the onset that lockdowns and even vaccines were all a foolish tactic! Also Dr. Bhakdi in Germany said these measure were grotesque and also Professor Bishara in Israel said the same things to say along with several other world renowned experts hat spoke truth unfettered by political pressures as so many other doctors gave into I suspect society won’t have their license to practice medicine pulled! I say they killed millions of people by doing all the wrong measure and that is genocide!

      1. Thanks Chen. Yes and I see how our human physiology is designed quite well to cope with naturally occurring pathogenic organisms. But our first line of defense is truly adequate if we exercise proper and adequate hygiene and living habits, proper rest and diet, to maintain a strong immune system; one in which exposure is not a crisis and will adjust to illness like cold viruses, helping us to get through the event and develop more immunity not less.

The key is taking proper care of ourselves and I think far too many people in our modern age have many times slipped or ignored hygiene or habits, even burning the candle at both ends as they say; being careless toward others and themselves in not preventing unnecessary exposure to these type pathogens.

Sad that so many people have been lost or suffered through this pandemic but one thing I hope most if not all people learn is to be more conscious and conscientious or responsible about not spreading germs or illness to others; doing what is respectful by using simple basic hygiene.

I think many older generations had learned these things taking them to heart having had to deal with some tough times, say when TB was very prevalent or polio. Mom was always saying when I was a child cleanliness is next to godliness.

Great good health to you and your family!
        God bless! 🙏🙏🙏
