Such a short life of a beauty!

Such a short life of a beauty!

Hibiscus mixed species (courtesy of Joanne T)

My dear amateur gardener

was so happy,

her pot of flower blooms…

for the first time!

****

It’s a mixed-species hibiscus!

A hybrid of red and white!

Awesome surprise!

****

But …

it only last one day!

The next day

another blooms up!

Such a short life of a beauty!

  1. Morning Glory are like this too. They are meant to grow outdoors but I put seeds in with my indoor Amaryllis and they bloom one at a time. It is a great day to see them unfurl their little umberella flowers for only one morning or one day at best.
