Flood and future homes – can our national architects do better?
I am impressed that a non- architect could come up with such an innovative idea of a home that would float above Terengganu flood water!
It shows that one doesn’t have to be an ‘architect’ to come up with that clever solution!

That is very cool, Serena. In my part of the world, there’s a big architectural focus on building climate-ready buildings and homes. It’s unfortunate that the work is even needed but as you said, lots of innovative ideas in motion.

Every time it floods, the poor people have to vacate their homes to temporary shelters. I wish the country’s architectural society can meet the changing needs.

And same to yours, Serena! We’re experiencing a big blizzard right now. Christmas dinner with family is cancelled. Haha.
