Thoughtful Thursday

As I read and type
Thinking deliberately today
Have I forgotten
to reciprocate some
who has visited my sites?
Have I forgotten
to reply to comment?
Have I commented enough?
For it takes a while and
to think and respond!

So I ponder
Maybe I should do
a light 'touch and go.'
and an easy 'hi'!
As most do,
Click a 'like'!
That's thinking on
a Thoughtful Thursday.

  1. Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it’s thinking of yourself less. β€“ C. S. Lewis.
  2. If there were one word that could act as a standard of conduct for one’s entire life, perhaps it would be ‘thoughtfulness. – Confucius

Blogging: A Thousand Apologies!

Blogging: A Thousand Apologies!

Did I unfollow this site? How come they are not in my reader? Or are my thumb and finger too big for the tiny fonts on my mobile that I accidentally deleted it?πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

“oh, this one? Yes, I did because they were too many f***words (nearly eight on one page!) in his write-ups for my liking!”πŸ™…πŸ™…πŸ™… At times he writes intelligently, though! 😐

I haven’t heard from this site for some time now. Is her dementia mother or her child with mental disorder taking up her time? πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”

Many writers are in or nearly in their golden years, including me. When I don’t hear from some of them, I wonder if they are well or not?”☹️☹️☹️

Still writing and reading are good to keep one’s remaining brain cells active!

Blogging: I run my race

Blogging: I run my race

Blogging is like running
but running a race?
I paused, I sweated,
feet apart, panting,
and watching others
... forging ahead.

Jane Trombley wonders
about the paucity of
baby-boomer bloggers
and her generation's 'voice'.

A counselor opines
that blogging feeds wellness!
Is blogging a new way of coping
for some?

Of course,
many baby-boomer bloggers
have joined the run.
but, are they running
the same race,
the same pace,
for the same goals?

A blogger reads and writes

A blogger reads and writes ( haiku)

Read, read, digest them!

Assimilate, recreate.

A new synthesis!

This Haiku is about how a blogger grows! The amount of readings and researches forms the basis of new ideas for writings.

  1. “If you don’t have time to read, you don’t have the time (or the tools) to write. Simple as that.” Stephen King
  2.  “… Writing comes from reading, and reading is the finest teacher of how to write.” – Annie Proulx
